Reflexology

Much more than a foot massage, in reflexology, pressure is applied to specific reflex points on the foot. These points correspond to organs and areas of the body using a targeted, pressure-point massage to restore the flow of energy throughout. Massage pressure is tailored to each client to give the best possible therapy.

What happens during a treatment?

This one hour calming treatment comprises a tea-tree infused foot cleanse, hot stone foot massage, reflexology and concludes with a refreshing foot spritz. Heated eye masks are available on request to further enhance your treatment.  Experiences with reflexology sessions vary from a general feeling of relaxation, to a sense of "lightness" or tingling in the body, as well as feelings of warmth and a sense of energy movement within a specific body area. Congested reflex areas of the foot may feel tender when treated, as the condition improves with several reflexology sessions, so will the soreness on the corresponding reflexes. The reflexologist stimulates the nervous system to do the work of balancing and releasing. The goal is to bring the whole body into balance thereby bringing relief from any issues. If reflexologists find pain, congestion, or tightness during the session, they will apply pressure to work on bringing the body back into balance.
